Karl J. Weaver is a Washington State- based International business executive with Mandarin Chinese Language and cross-cultural expertise. Karl lived and worked in Greater China for 10 years and has been involved in selling and marketing to China and India since 1985. He has geared his professional career around developing business opportunities for wireless communications products to Asia- Pacific and Greater China markets in the emerging Pacific Century.

He has been in the local Puget Sound wireless industry for a decade,helping three well-known high-tech companies expand Asian markets (Zetron, Metawave and Leviton Voice & Data). In 2002, Karl was the Greater China Account Manager and remote Seattle office representative for Protura Wireless (CA, wireless start-up) that designs internal (embedded) antennas for cell phones, smart phones, and PDA mobile devices. Since 2003, He has been invited to deliver professional public speaking as he promotes the "Global Smart Phone Revolution", as well as, consulting on a nationwide road show for the Leszynski Group (Bellevue, WA), as their wireless mobility speaker on Tablet PC usage in productivity solutions (to increase work flow for wireless enterprise applications).In late 1999, while working at Leviton Voice & Data, he was selected by the Seattle World Trade - Host Organization and the U.S. State Department to be the official liaison officer for the Hong Kong Government's WTO trade delegation, during the 3rd round of the Seattle WTO ministerial sessions at the Washington State Convention Center from December 1st~5th.

Karl was born in Quincy, Massachusetts and obtained his B. S. Degree from Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island in 1982 and studied Mandarin Chinese language under scholarship from the ROC Ministry of Education for study at National Taiwan Normal University, Mandarin Training Center, Taipei, Taiwan from 1982-1985.

Karl recently obtained a Certificate of Wireless Communications from the University of Washington, Certificate Evening Program.
